Shipping policy
1. Dispatch & Handling Time
We aim to dispatch all standard jewellery orders within 3–5 working days of your order being placed and payment cleared (Monday to Friday). Orders placed on a Friday will generally be dispatched by the following Monday or Tuesday (excluding public holidays).
Please note: Custom-made, personalised or engraved pieces are not included in this standard dispatch period — these will require 15–20 working days (plus shipping time) depending on design complexity and seasonal demand.
2. Shipping Methods & Domestic Delivery (UK)
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number (where available) via email. Our standard UK delivery uses Royal Mail, Evri or DHL and typical transit time within the UK is 3–5 working days. Also, in unforeseen circumstances we might send your shipment via other delivery partners so that we delivery your order as soon as possible. Please allow for possible delays during peak periods, bank holidays or sale events.
3. International Shipping & Customs
For all orders shipped outside the UK, please be aware:
· Customs clearance and local postal service processing may cause delays beyond our control.
· All international orders are shipped DDU (Duties & Taxes Unpaid) — this means any import duties, taxes or fees levied by your country are your responsibility.
· It is your responsibility to provide an accurate shipping address. If a parcel is returned because of an incorrect address, refused customs/duties or other local carrier action, we may deduct shipping costs and/or return freight charges before issuing any refund.
4. Shipping Costs & Free Shipping
- Standard UK delivery fee: Calculated at the time of checkout. Prices vary depending on location.Free UK shipping is available for orders over £50.
- Please be aware that actual shipping costs for us may vary by size, weight and destination — in the case of address correction, refused customs or order cancellation triggered by customer error, we reserve the right to deduct the actual shipping cost from any refund issued.
5. Delays, Liability & Customer Responsibilities
Once your parcel has left our premises, the delivery timeframe is subject to the courier or postal service; Theodora Limited cannot guarantee delivery dates and is not responsible for delays caused by customs, courier service issues, or events outside our control.
If your shipment is significantly overdue, you should contact the carrier using your tracking information; we can assist where possible but cannot assume liability for transit problems post-dispatch.
6. Address Accuracy & Returns to Sender
Please ensure your shipping address is complete and correct — including flat/building number, street, postcode and country. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address or failure to pay customs/duties, we may deduct the return shipping cost (and any additional handling fees) before issuing a refund.
7. Agreement to Terms
By placing an order via Theodora Limited’s website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to this Shipping Policy.
